Preston Anderson is a First Grader at Wingate Elementary School in Shiloh, Illinois. He has the highest GPA of the entire first grade class. Preston has received several awards such as Honor Roll, Exceptional Reader Award, Character of the Month Award, and The Stellar Student Award! His hardwork in the classroom is attributed to having an older brother and being inquisitive about what’s going in the Third Grade. There are some competitiveness going on in the Anderson Household and getting good grades are the byproduct.

Preston Anderson is a member of New Life in Christ Interdenominational Church located in Lebanon, Illinois. One of the things that really made Preston special was on April 20th, 2016. He reminded me not to enter into the track meet on April 24th. We asked why, “he said I’m getting baptized!” Preston was excited about being baptized and began to encourage his teammates to start attending church.

Mr. Anderson is a hard-working, goal-driven student-athlete! He set his mind on it and you better believe he’s going to meet or exceed that goal. He was a National Qualifier his first season with the Dashers Track Club and really excelled invhis craft! Preston is also a member of the Mascoutah Indians Little League Football team. His voach said that he’s a pleasure to have and look forward to seeing him be one of the best in the future!

Preston loves to read! He’s usually under the tent reading at track meets. He loves spending time with family and friends, video games, board games, bike riding, and exercising.
